Love is love - there is no question about it

When your heart shatters into a thousand pieces, it feels beyond insane.
As if you’re falling into hell with no escape, no way back.
And yet — is it really worth holding back from loving deeply,
just because the other side doesn’t feel with the same intensity?
Maybe yes. Maybe no.
To feel deeply has its disadvantages — the pain cuts sharper, the loss weighs heavier.
But at the same time, life itself becomes more vivid.
The joys shine brighter, the little moments feel richer,
and even the excitement of life can be experienced more fully.
When my heart was broken into a thousand pieces and regret filled me,
a friend wrote to me: “You gave your best, and that’s all that matters.”
And maybe that’s true. Maybe there is a gift, even a beauty,
in love and in feelings — even when they are not shared equally.
They remain a tender and precious gift.
But what helps when you feel completely destroyed?
For me, it is being in nature.
It is turning my thoughts to the good things,
to the new opportunities waiting ahead.
It is embracing the pain in all its colors.
And above all, it is remembering this one truth:
Love is all that truly matters.
